About this site. Here is some of the history of Rural Valley, Yatesboro, and surrounding areas in Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania that I've gathered up along the way. This is a work in progress with much more to be added.

While the site started out being research about my family, its focus now is on the people and genealogical connections of the area.

Submissions are very welcome! I am grateful to the people who have contributed content to this site.

A note about the "My Family" section. This area contains pictures of and genealogical information about my relatives, some of whom are not from the Rural Valley area.
