PUMPKIN BREAD Loretta McFeaters

3 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt
1 c. salt oil 1/2 tsp. cloves
4 beaten eggs 1 tsp. cinnamon
3 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. baking soda 1 can pumpkin (2 c.)
2/3 c. water

Combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Add pumpkin. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to the pumpkin mixture. Add water. Mix well. Nuts and raisins may be added. Pour into loaf pans (I use three pans). Baked at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
