GOBS Susan McFeaters

2 c. sugar 4 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco 2 Tbsp. soda
2 eggs 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour milk 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. cocoa
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs. Beat well. Add sour milk, boiling water, and vanilla. Sift together remaining ingredients. Add to other and drop on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes at 450 degrees.

Filling:
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
5 Tbsp. flour 1 c. milk (let cool)

Cream:

1 c. powdered sugar 1/2 Tbsp. salt
1/2 c. oleo 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all filling ingredients together and beat well. Make a sandwich.
