BREAKFAST BREAD

1 1/2 c. cornflakes (cereal)
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. orange peel
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. orange juice
1/3 c. margarine (softened)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. seedless raisins
Crush cornflakes so you have 3/4 cup. Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder. Set
aside. Mix margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and orange peel.
Beat well. Stir in orange juice. Add dry ingredients, mixing only until combined.
Stir in nuts and raisins. Spread in well greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350
degrees about 50 minutes. Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely
before slicing.
