obituary of William Lewis McFeaters "William Lewis McFeaters, 58, of Waldorf died Feb. 21, 1988, at Physicians Memorial Hospital, La Plata. A graduate of Southwest Missouri State College in 1958, he taught at Friendly High School in Prince George's County for 32 years. He served in the US Army from 1951-1953. He was a member of the southwester Merrylanders Square Dance class and attended Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Born on Aug. 15, 1929, in Johnstown, Pa., he was the son of the late Mary Jane McCachren and Warrren Lewis McFeaters. He is survived by his wife, Loretta R. (Williams) McFeaters; daughters, Susan Gredler and Kathryn Marie; granddaughter Sara Kathryn Gredler; and son-in-law, Peter Gredler. Funeral services were held Feb. 24 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Chuch, Waldorf. The REv. Thomas Kaylor officiated. Burial followed in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham. Pallbearers were James Newbold, Richard Gaul, Thomas Sidleck, Allan Hicks, David Holter and James Winters. Huntt Funeral Home of Waldorf provided the arrangements."
