"Raymond L. McCachren, 77, Seward RD 2, died Wednesday, June 28, 1995, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown.

The son of Archibald and Laurie Stiles McCachren, he was born Oct. 28, 1917, in East Wheatfield Township.

Mr. McCachren was a member of Armagh United Methodist Church, United Area Senior zitizens and William Penn Grange 1730, Armagh.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Sani-Dairy, Johnstown, where he was a member of the 25th Century Club.

Surviving are these children, Joyce, wife of Robert E. Smith, Homer City RD 1, and David, married to Karen McDermot, Lewistown; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie C. George McCachren; an infant twin brother, Harold; two brothers, Harry "Gim" and Kenneth "Tuby"; and three sisters: Mabel Hixson, Wilma Stiles and Dorothy Mack.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm today in the Kenneth A. Stuard Funeral Home, New Florence.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday at Armagh United Methodist Church with the Rev. John E. Flower Jr officiating.  Interment will be in Armagh Cemetery."
