obituary of Mary Jane McCachren McFeaters "Mrs. Mary Jane McFeaters, 61, of Armagh, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1971, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born Nov. 5, 1909, in Armagh, she was a daughter of Charles and Laura Smith McCachren. Mrs. McFeaters was a member and organist of United Methodist Church, Armagh; Johnstown Chapter 183, Order of the Eastern Star and past matron of Indiana Court 123, Order of Amaranth. She was an elementary school teacher for 23 years in United School District. Surviving are her husband, Lewis McFeaters; a son, William, Waldorf, Md; two granddaughters, Susan and Kathryn; two brothers: Frank G., Johnstown; Robert M, Columbus, Ga; two sisters: Mrs. Naomi Warner, Guayaquil, Equador, South America; MIss Kathryn, Camp Springs, Md. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters: Laura Jean and Ethel Kay. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. this evening at the Kenneth N. Gray Funeral Home, Seward, and until noon Wednesday when the body will be removed at 1: 30 pm to the United Methodist Church, Armagh. The Rev. Henry Morris will officiate and interment will be made in Armagh Cemetery. Amaranth and Eastern Star Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home."
