    Contains extensive local history, photographic collections, and an extensive genealogy department covering local families -- including the Rykers-Rikers.

    A major repository for prepared genealogies and documents pertaining to the Ryker-Riker family, many of  which are unobtainable elsewhere.  In addition, there are both changing and permanent exhibits devoted to pioneers and their stone cottages, the Ohio River and steamboating, Civil War happenings, the Victorian period in Jefferson County, etc.
