This is a photograph of Margaretha Ruppert Heise, 1846-1886. This image was scanned from a Polaroid of an original framed full-length view photograph. A matching framed photo of her husband, August Johann Heise, 1847-1910 has also been scanned. The originals were owned by Mrs Virginia Miller McCormick, widow of Leo H. McCormick. He was the grandson of Margaretha Ruppert Heise. Copies were made in 1993.
