Want to share this letter with you

Dear Evelyn
Feb 1989
I am sorry I couldn't be of more help to you, but I just wanted you
to know, that I enjoyed hearing from you.
I lived with my granny Flood 2 or 3 years, after my father married
the second time, and Uncle Simon and Aunt Hester lived just about
one-fourth mile from granny.
I loved them dearly, and Lee, Howard and Obie and I played together
a lot. I was little older than they, but we had good times together.
Uncle Sime, we called him "Sime", was my favorite uncle.
I would like to see you and talk to you about old times, but you
probably would not appreciate it, as you are younger, and wouldn't
know the old time Big Creekers.
Well good luck with your genealogy, and God bless you and your family
From your far distant cousin,
Love
Mary Joe Reeves
