HENRY BOLIN, unknown birth date and place.
It is said his mother died on the "Trail of Tears" 1838
He died ca1862, killed by bushwhackers on Atkinson Mountain in
Newton County, Arkansas.
He had a brother CALVIN BOLIN who was living in Franklin County,
Arkansas in 1876
and was on the 1880 census with his son COLONEL FELPS BOLIN

Calvin Bolin married an ELIZABETH CAMPBELL,age 35,on 25Feb1876
Franklin County, Arkansas

Henry Bolin married ELIZABETH "BETSY"NICHOLS ca 1850, probably in
Missouri, as that is where their first two children were born.

Elizabeth "Betsy" Bolin was born 24 Dec 1832 in Tennessee (probably
Marion County).
She was daughter of "Old John" Nichols and unknown wife.
Her mother's first name was probably Margaret (MNU)
Elizabeth was sister to our great-great-great grandmother,
Tibitha Ann Nichols Ricketts.
Elizabeth was also sister to Sally Nichols Flud and Nancy Nichols
Sexton.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Nichols Bolin died 18 Oct 1887 and is buried in
Smith Cemetery, Newton County, Arkansas.

It is obvious that the rest of the Bolin children after 1862 were Henry Bolin was killed by bushwhackers CA 1862 on Bolin Mountain
Colonel Felps Bolin was living with his father CALVIN BOLIN in 1880
in Franklin County, Arkansas.
