Mrs. Holt was born July 26, 1919 at Stringtown, OK, the daughter of
Thomas Massey and Sophia (Moats) Massey and died Sunday, February 22,
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bluford Holt,
two brothers, three sisters and a great-great-grandson, Cade Horton.
Mrs. Holt was a welder in the Navy Shipyards during WWII and worked
at Corning Glass in Muskogee.
Survivors include her children, Dale Holt of Porum, Gary Holt of
Porum, Betty Lindsey of Muskogee, Nancy Holt of Mesquite, TX;
brothers, Buck Massey of Stilwell, Gus Massey of Illinois, sister
Marylyn Dossey of Lufkin, TX,12 grandchildren,20 great-grandchildren
and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at
2:00 PM Wednesday,February 25, 2009 at the Porum Assembly of God with
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery at
Porum under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers
Falls. Burial:Fields Cemetery,Porum,Muskogee County,Oklahoma
