In the Sutton Cemetery in Newton County, Arkansas resting in her
eternal sleep, is one CATHERINE "Katie" SUTTON LILES, wife of
John W Liles.
Katie was born 26Nov1855 and died 15Sept1894.
She was daughter of Ephriam and Barbara Gilbreath Sutton.
JOHN W LILES and KATIE SUTTON were married on 15Jan1871 in Newton

Seeing the name LILES in many Newton County records, decided to
research this family and try to solve many questions I had on this
family.
Sent for Absalom Lile's Civil War Pension Records.
This is what I have found thus far:

Any additions or corrections welcome.
I do not claim to be 100% accurate in any of my stories.
There ARE ALWAYS additions and corrections to be added
Sometimes the handwriting on the census records is very hard to
read. Try to put a question mark by anything I cannot read clearly.
