Martha was daughter of Sarah Steele Hamilton who lived in Searcy
County, Arkansas.
Sarah Steele Hamilton had married John "Jack" Hamilton in 1866 in
Springfield, Missouri.
Sarah Steele was the mother of several "Hamilton" children before her
marriage to Jack Hamilton
Sarah and Jack Hamilton had one daughter Lilly Maybelle Hamilton
Lawrence, born in 1867 in Greene County, Missouri.
The Hamilton family then returned to Searcy County
John "Jack" Hamilton was great-great-great
grandfather of my Flood children.
Martha had married Anderson William Wright ca 1878.
The known Wright children were:
Margaret "Maggie" Lavina; Iva Mae; Andrew Jackson "Jack";
George William; and Ollie D. Wright Anderson Wright died 1892\1893 probably in Searcy County, Arkansas
Martha then married John E. Linton on 9 May 1904 in Johnson County
Arkansas.
She married Henry M. Rhodes on 24 April 1910 in Searcy County,
Arkansas.
Henry M. Rhodes was born 12 October 1849 at unknown place
He died 25 August 1918 in Searcy County. Martha Elizabeth (Hill?)Hamilton Wright Linton Rhodes died ca 1921
Martha and Henry M Rhodes are buried in Glencoe Cemetery, Searcy
County, Arkansas.
