The J.V. in the bottom of some images is probably James Valentine of the Valentine's firm." Amanda has kindly sent two further photographs here (1.6 MB) and here (4.5 MB) December 2013.

The Isles of Scilly Family History Group was formed in 2002 with the aim of bringing together persons researching Scillonian families. The Group works very closely with the Isles of Scilly Museum. So far there are some 60 members world-wide. The Group hold their names, contact details and research names on a database and produce, for members, a booklet each year listing these details. This list has helped immensely with redirecting enquiries to the correct researcher over the last two years. Anyone wishing to know more about the Group, or wishing to join, may contact the Isles of Scilly Museum on [email protected].
