SMITH - In loving memory of our dearest daughter and sister, Lucy Smith, died August 18, 1905.
Oh God, how mysterious and how strange Thy ways
To take our dear loved one in the best of her days;
We loved her in life, she is dear to us still
But in grief we must bend to God’s holy will.
Our sorrow is great, our loss heavy to bear.
But angels will tend to our dear daughter will care.
Three years have passed, and friends around us
Think the wound has almost healed;
But they little know the sorrow
That lies within our hearts concealed

Inserted by loving mother, brother and sister.
