SPRING HILL
CEMETERY A.K.A.
Fischell Cemetery
Catalogued June 5, 1975 by H. A. Dieter. Located in section 2, Town of
Marshall. Turn south off County Trunk D 0.6 mile west of the north
Woodstock entrance. The cemetery lies on the left of a town road
leading to the valley's end. A community church once stood nearby,
Fishel, Clark, Peckham, Long and Ferguson made up a large part of the
early names in this section. The surrounding farm land is presently
owned by Carl Wolf. The grounds are in fair condition. The first known
burial was in 1864.
