BETHEL CEMETERY
Catalogued April 29, 1975 by H. A. Dieter. Located on the present
Jacobson farm, on the south side of a town road east of Mill
Creek. Turn east at Basswood for 3/4 mile, take first left at
crossroads to cemetery, section 10, Town of Eagle. The cemetery is in
fair condition, with a pine tree border on three sides. Eighteen
legible monuments is in direct contrast to the 32 unmarked foot stones
plus 3 illegible markers. The first known burial was in 1864 although
there is some indication of earlier ones.
