Occupation: Physician. He attended medical lectures and completed his
studies at the medical school connected with Dartmouth Coll., Dec.,
1814. Rem'd to Hancock, N. H., where he commenced practice, and
continued his residence there till Nov., 1841, when he rem'd to Milford.

Represented the town of Hancock in the Legislature during the years
1833-4-5. (Derby, p. 58)

Returned to Milford in 1841 and continued in practice as physician until
his health failed, and died there. (Ramsdell, p. 771.)

Appears on the 1850 Milford, Hillsborough, New Hampshire Census, LDS
Film #0443638, p. 343: "Jonas Hutchinson, 57, M, Physician, New
Hampshire [Place of Birth]."
