Occupation: Yeoman (Derby, p. 7).

He was selectman of Newbury in 1665, 1675, 1678. His will, made
March 20, 1686/7, codicil Feb. 20, 1687/8, was proved Dec. 12, 1688.

He came to America with his parents. He was aman of local prominence,
filled numerous places in the public service and left a handsome estate
