This web page
is the result of over twenty years of research - mainly into
my husband's "Jersey-Dutch" ancestors, who migrated
from New Amsterdam to Bergen Co. NJ, Passaic Co. NJ, Morris Co.,
NJ and Rockland Co., NY. As a result of that resarch, I will
soon be publishing a six generation book The
Hopper Family Genealogy; Descendants of Andries Willemszen Hoppe(n)
of New Amsterdam 1651. I
have posted some of the pages from the book so that you will
be able to have a preview.
There is also
a section of resources for researching in Bergen County. As Borough
Historian, I have devoted another section to the genealogy and
history of the Borough of Montvale, N. J.
There is also
information on some of my Pilgrim, Irish, and Italian ancestors
as well.
Any additions
