     Clarence R. Kahler was born on 7 September 1889.2 He married, at age 22, Mable Viola Sholder, age 20, daughter of Willard H. Sholder and Anna Mary Roth, on Wednesday, 24 April 1912.3,1 Clarence R. Kahler died on 10 December 1984 at age 95 years, 3 months and 3 days.2,3 He was buried in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
     Clarence R.'s surname has also been spelled as Kohler. As of 1967, Clarence R. Kahler and Mable Viola Sholder lived at 306 Southern Avenue, South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.1

     Clarence R. Kahler was listed in the obituary for the former Mable Viola Sholder, on 22 December 1969 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as her husband.1 The Social Security Death Index gives the last residence of record for Clarence as Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
