     William Crittington VanBebber was born on 12 May 1921 at Ardmore, Carter County, Oklahoma. He was the son of Claude Arthur VanBebber and Ada Dell Long. William Crittington VanBebber married Deane [—?—] circa 1945. William Crittington VanBebber died in November 1993 at Hemet Valley Heath Care Center, Hemet, Riverside County, California, at age 72 years and 5 months.
     His obituary was published on 27 November 1993 in the The Press-Enterprise, printed in Riverside, Riverside County, California. His obituary stated:

     Graveside services for William C. Vanbebber, 72, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside National Cemetery. He died Wednesday of heart disease at Hemet Valley Health Care Center. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Mr. Vanbebber, who was born in Ardmore, Okla., lived in Hemet for six years. He was a self-employed electronics salesman. He served in the U.S. Navy, participating in eight war patrols in the submarine fleet during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Deane; three sons, John Vincent of Redondo Beach, Dan Vincent of Nipomo and Tom Vincent of Huntington Beach; and a daughter, Nancy Steadman of Bel Air, Md.
