Roy W. Driver

     Roy W. Driver was born on 26 August 1912 at Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Leslie Dewitt Driver and Anna M. Engelman. Roy W. Driver married, at age 32, Alice R. Marquardt, age 29, daughter of Reuben O. Marquardt and Margaret M. Lovell, on Saturday, 4 November 1944 at Maple Springs Evangelical Church, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 Roy W. Driver died on 9 November 1999 at Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, at age 87 years, 2 months and 14 days.1 He was buried on 11 November 1999 in the Woodward Township Cemetery, located in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He was in military service with the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, serving 29 months of duty with the North Atlantic Fleet in Newfoundland 1942.
