       He married 02 April 1681 Elizabeth <Richard> Smith Lawrence/Carteret/Townley (Rn=23977), who was born about 1642 at Smithtown, Eastern Long Island and died July 1712 at Elizabethtown, Essex County, New Jersey at 70 years of age,
       daughter of Richard (Bull) <Richard> Smith Major (Rn=23978) and Sarah <?> Hammond Smith (Rn=49388).
