Hi Robert:  I check my book and found several Pierce/Pearce listed; a John, Michael and Seth Pearce and a Floyd M and Marion F Pierce.  Their children listed were Harriet, Nancy Ann, Mary J., Susannah, Seth L., and Thomas Pearce.  Also- Florence and Jay M.  Seth Pearce had a daughter named Margaret E.  Listed also are Vida, Myra, children of Floyd M. Pierce.  Marion F. Pierce had children named Floyd M., Cora B. and Ralph M.

 

If any of these names mean anything to you, I'll be happy to send further information pertaining to them.

Captain Job Peirce (No. 47) was the 3d son of Ebenezer Peirce (No. 22) and wife Mary Hoskins, and born in that part of Middleborough now called Lakeville, Nov. 29, 1737.

Contains records of the 4th Church of Christ in Bridgewater, the North Parish or Precinct of Bridgewater, and the 1st Congregational Church and Parish in North Bridgewater. In 1821 the North Parish of Bridgewater became the town of North Bridgewater. The name of the town of North Bridgewater was changed to Brockton in 1874.

[There was a Warren Raymond who married in Whitestown 13 Dec 1819 to Elisa Simmons(illegible) sites.rootsweb.com/~nyoneida/miscmarriage/dodd.htm. Warren was born 10 May 1796 in New Canaan, NY to John Raymond and Elizabeth Barrows. [I think Clapp Raymond is a descendent of the Clapp Raymond born between 1730 and 1739, died 1795 in Ballston Spa, NY, son of Asahel Raymond and Mary Taylor. Asahel was the son of John Raymond and Elizabeth St. John. John Raymond was the grandson of Richard Raymond and Judith, immigrants to New England  www.gencircles.com/users/raymondhow/2/data/2547].
