About Thomas Brassard

Thomas Brassard was a Notary in the District of Bedford Notariat between 1855 and 1887. He maintained an office in Henryville between 1855 and 1863. After that he removed to Waterloo and thus many of his later records include persons from Shefford County. Thomas Brassard's original documents are held by Bibliothèque et Archives nationales Québec at Sherbrooke with microfilm copies available from BAnQ and other sources. Online images of his Repertoire are linked from BAnQ. Notice that although the chronological repertoire down not commence till 1870, the earlier years are avaialble in the alphabetical repertoire.
