North Georgetown

North Georgetown was a region in the center of the Seigniory of Beauharnois. It was bounded on the northwest side by the Rivière St-Louis and the seigniorial regions of Helenstown and Marystown, on the south west by Ormstown region (boundary line west of the present day Rang Quarante - the road between Allans Corner's and St-Louis de Gonzague), on the southeast by the Chateauguay River and South Georgetown and on the northeast by Annstown region (boundary line at the present Rang St-Laurent road.)

14  Lot #25 - Nicolas Boyer sr declared on the same day that he got the lot for his son Nicolas(SW3/4) and Michel Leduc son of René(NE1/4).

15  Lot #29 - François Dupont declared the same day that he got the lot for Mercile &Ambroise Roy children of the late Bazile Roy dit Lapensée &Josette Chatigny now the wife of François Dupont.

Note: There is apparent confusion in Sarault's documents regarding First Concession vs Châteauguay River Concession. Most of these documents state the location as First Concession (except lot 16) but other sources, namely Sellar's History, locate them along the Châteauguay River which was properly named the Châteauguay River Concession (North Georgetown). Sellar referred to it as North Georgetown River Front Concession. They are listed here separately from the First Concession to point out this ambiguity.
