The Sarratt family This is a 1985 family history of John Sarratt, who with his brothers Samuel, Lemuel, and sisters Kizzie and Mirna and others moved from the Yadkin river in North Carolina and settled upon the south side of Broad river near the mouth of Sarratt's Creek before the Revolutionary War. He was married to Nannie Morgan. They were the parents of three sons and four daughters. Thomas Briggs (fl.1778-1830) was born in 1760 or before and lived in Rowan County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and elsewhere. Some descendants became Mormons and moved to Utah and elsewhere.

Family history and genealogical information about the ancestors and descendants of William B. Stoker who was born 11 July 1836 in Alabama. He was a descendant of Robert Stoker (born ca. 1799 in Georgia or South Carolina) and Mary Stack. William married Emmeline E. Chandler 14 January 1858 in Texas. They lived in Nacogdoches Co., Texas and were the parents of five sons and three daughters. Ancestors lived in England, South Carolina, Alabama and elsewhere. Descendants lived primarily in Texas.

(1665-1715) immigrated from France to Prince Georges County, Maryland, and his wife was named Katherine.
Mrs. Barbara H.J. (Chandler) Surratt's husband Sr. Willis LaRoe Surratt is a Son of: Harold Willis Surratt (1912-1978) , direct descendant in the ninth generation, moved from Nebraska to Havana, Mason County, Illinois and married Irene Jeannette Pedigo. Irene's earliest known ancestor was Henry Pedigo (ca.1814-1896), who married Jane Cundiff or Cunder, and moved from Kentucky to Oakford, Menard County, Illinois; Irene was a direct descendant in the fifth generation. Descendants and relatives of Joseph and Henry lived in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Nebraska and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry and genealogical data in France, Germany and elslewhere to 1558 A.D.
