Comments:	Also related to Mary "Minnie" Potts. She and LuElla were two of the 15 children of my great grandparents, William Jasper Potts and Martha Matilda Reagin. Thank you for helping me in researching this Potts family. My grandmother was Anna Costella Waters (wife of Wm Parks Potts). Her father's name was Henry Waters, born in AL according to 1900, 1910 and 1920 Census. I presume he died before 1900 since his wife, nee Narcissus Meadows, was going by surname of Cupp on the 1900 census of Cleburne County, AL and 1910 Census of Natchitosis County, LA. I don't know if this Henry Waters was related to the Waters family in your ancestry. But again I was very happy to find the information you have posted on Rootsweb and USGENWEB. It has been a tremendous help to me in my research.

Comments:	I believe that it is possible that my Nancy Serratt went to AL from either Greene or Hawkins Co. TN right about 1800. Her husband Frederick Ice was signed on to the Hawkins Co. Militia at that time, and that is the last we ever find him. I think that Nancy took her boys (Frederick, Thomas, John & my Andrew) and moved to Madison Co. AL, where she had family (Samuel Serratt, a possible brother). I also believe her to be possibly the dau. of Joseph Serratt. Son John went on to IL, and is not mentioned in her will, so possibly died before her. The other boys are mentioned in the will. There are many land records to tie the rest of them to the Madison and Marshall Co. area. My Andrew, the youngest, and his brother Thomas both moved to Texas ca. 1850.

Comments:	Paul I see where you have inserted some comments for me in your guest book. 1st I did not enter any comments in your guest book. 2nd as they usually are your comments are wrong. I did say I found some of your info useful. What you failed to say was that I found about half of it incorrect, inaccurate and completely fabricated. The 1st and 2nd messages of Amos Surrett was not enter in your guest book by me, but by you. I have never entered any messages in your guest book until now. I have never said my ggg grand dad was William Sanford Surrett. There is no such person. You seem to be the only person that doesn't know that. The William S of 1850 Hot Springs co Ark is a Sarrel's not a Sarrett and the family in 1860 Cherokee co Ga is not a C. C. Surrett and wife S.J. and two sons, but a C.C. Sorrells with wife M.A. and two daughters but for you to admit that would mean you would have to admit you are making up people.
