York Co., NC. was created in 1785 from the old Camden & Pickney Districts. The County Seat is York, SC. 29745. It is located in the "Upper South Carolina" Counties. It is Bordered by:
Cleveland Co., on the North Carolina border; Mecklenburg Co. on the North Carolina border;
Lancaster Co., SC. on the East; Chester Co. on the South; With Cherokee Co., on the West.
