Funeral services for Eva "SURRITTE" CHILDS, 71, of Morrison, [Nobel Co., OK.] were held today at 2 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Carr officiating. She was buried at A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, in Pawnee. Mrs. CHILDS was born Nov. 3, 1918 in West Plains, Mo. to George W. SURRITTE and Virginia D. CALLAHAN. She died June 20 in Pawnee. She married Harry CHILDS April 4, 1951 in Claremore. [Rogers Co., OK.] Mrs. CHILDS is survived by her husband, Harry, of the home; three daughters,
Thelma, Virginia "Jean", and Patsy; three sons, Charles, Paige, and Roland;
four sisters, Ruby, Hazel and Ruth "Dolly", Alyne; two brothers, George "Bud" and Leon "Sonny"; 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
