Will, which his father JOSEPH, 3 SARRATT, left him "No Shillings,
but left what remained of the original 506 acres, the 211 acre "Family
Plantation", (South Hyco now located in Person County, North Carolina)

Elisha,3 SARRATT, age 24, sold 97 acres,
part of the "Sarratt South Hyco Plantation, to
Abner BRADSHER, probably his Brother-in-law.

Elisha,3 SARRATT sold the remaining 114
acres of the "South Hyco SARRATT Family Plantation" to
John PITTED and thus he disposed

Hyco Lake is a man-made reservoir located in northern North Carolina near the Virginia state line
in the Roanoke River Basin.
In the early 1960s, the lake was constructed by damming three local creeks:
Cobb, North Hyco and South Hyco.
The lake is located 8.4 miles Northwest on State Hwy 57
from the town of Roxboro, North Carolina. The reservoir was deemed complete in 1965
when the desired water level was attained by Hurricane Hilda blowing through the area.

The 1820 Census record is the last record found of ELISHA SARRATT
in Person County, North Carolina. This also concludes the records
of SARRATTS in Person Co., NC. (apparently all of the SARRATTS
left the Orange, Person, Caswell County area after living there about
75 years...prs)
William T. went to Daviess Co., IN. St. Francis Co., Arkansas.
Walter T. went to Obino, Monroe Co's TN, then Williamson Co. IL,
Obion Co., TN.
was created on Oct 24, 1823
form the larger Western District. (Land Treaty Oct 19, 1818
Chickasaw Nation)
The County Seat is Union City, TN. 38261. It is located in the Western
part of the State. Bounded by:
Fulton Co., KY. on the North;
Weakley Co., TN on the East;
Obion Co. on the Southeast;
Dyer Co., on the Southwest;

Samuel married 2nd bfr 10 Deb 1808? this would make Samuel 10yrs old at this marriage.
The Jenny/Jane SARRATT, that was living in Wilkes Co. for 1820 to 1840 Census,
is NOT this Jane (she was born c1765)
