In the name of God, Amen, I Richard Johnson of Sumner County, State of Tennessee being in very perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God for the same and calling to mind the uncertainly of the present life, do hereby make this my last will and Testament. After giving my soul to God who gave it with never failing joys of immortality and  now as to what I now possess of my temporal estate, which has pleased God to bestow upon me, I give and bequeath unto my lawful children namely; George, Mary, Richard, Benjamin, Samuel, Nancy and the lawful heirs of Austin Johnson, David, Nathan, Andrew & Sally, all the money that I should have in the notes calling for money and all dues of every description to be equally divided among my six named children and the heirs of Austin Johnson, making eleven shares after all my debts being paid and hereby constitute and appoint my son Benjamin Johnson & L M. Woodson
