Ray M. Short 1928 ~ 2009.
Ray M. Short, age 81, passed away November 8, 2009 in Taylorsville, Utah.
Ray was born February 7, 1928 in Whitehouse, Tennessee to Cecil R. Short
and Agnes (Arterburn) Short. He graduated from Gallatin High School. He married
Lena M. Hall on September 6, 1949 in Gallatin, Tennessee. He was a member
of the Southern Baptist Church. He served 36 years with the Federal Aviation
Administration. He loved having his family around him. His passion was an
annual fishing trip to Flin Flon, Canada with family and friends. He has
organized this trip for the last 17 years. Ray is survived by his loving
wife, 3 daughters, and 1 son; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Agnes Short, and sister,
Kathleen Witherspoon. (Descendants of
