Mrs. Lou Perkins.
Mrs. Lou Allen Crenshaw Perkins, age 81 years, died Friday morning, March 29th, 1929, at 6:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William M. Hart, of Nashville. The deceased was a daughter of Thomas Crenshaw of this county and was born and reared at Bethpage. She was one of a large family of children, all of whom preceded her to the grave. In early life she married Wesley Perkins of Rockfield, Warren county, Kentucky. Following the death of her husband she returned to Gallatin and lived here for a number of years. Mrs. Perkins was a devout member of the Methodist church. She is survived by one son, Claude E. Perkins of Gallatin, and a daughter, Mrs. William M. Hart of Nashville. Funeral services were conducted at the residence of Mrs. Hart at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon by. Rev. T. A. Kerley and Dr. R. L Ounbey. The burial was at Mt. Olivet cemetery, Nashville.
