Harry Y. Moore, Died Tuesday July 5, 1921.
The body of Mr. Harry Y. Moore was brought from Woodlawn, Col., where he died July 26. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Methodist Church by Revs. Ray and Swann. after which all that was mortal was placed in our City of  the Dead. His death has brought the bitter cup of sorrow to the lips of friends and relatives. His was a heart of gold. He was one of  nature's noblemen in its truest sense - brave, generous, manly. His was a soul of honor, and his friends and friendships were sacred to him. There was a daily beauty about his life which won every heart. in temperament he was mild, conciliatory  and candid. He gained confidence when he seemed least to seek it. He believed in the fatherhood of God and in the brotherhood of man. He believed that the man who scatters flowers in the pathway of his fellowmen, who lets  into the dark places of life the sunshine of human sympathy and human happiness, is following in the footsteps of his Master. As we stood by his grave, in fancy we could see him - not in death's cold shroud of sorrow and despair, but smiling upon us - smiling with all the remembered grace of his manhood, love and devotion and saying to us: "The sunset speaks but feebly of the glories of Another day., All is Well." He is survived by B. O. Moore of Portland and a sister, Mrs. H. M. Moore of this place.
