McMURTRY - Tuesday morning at 10:35 o'clock, July 9, 1929, at her home, 604 Joseph Avenue, Mrs. Charlotte Annie McMurtry, aged 73 years. Survived by sons, A. D. McMurtry, T. M. McMurtry and A. L. McMurtry of Nashville, Tenn.; daughters, Mrs. J. E. Crunk, Goodlettsville, and Miss Zoe McMurtry of Nashville; 16 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ellie Dodge of Richway, Ill. Funeral services will be conducted at the Beech Presbyterian Church this (Wednesday) afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by Rev. Sylvanus Dorris. Pallbearers will be, Porter McCord, Herman McMurtry, Lewis Swift. Alfred Copeland, Johnny Copeland, Archie McMurtry. Interment in Beech Church Cemetery. Cole & Garrett. Goodlettsville, in charge.

McMURTRY - Monday evening 6 o'clock May 27, 1929 at the home of her son, J. S. McMurtry, 7 miles on L. & N. Pike, Mrs. Martha Jane McMurtry age 82 years. Survived by sons, William and J. S. McMurtry of Goodlettsville, Horace McMurtry, of Bowling Green, Ky. Sisters, Mrs. Kelly Montgomery and Mrs. A. J. Sanders of Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at her home this Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock by Rev. Sylvanus Dorris. Following  will serve as pallbearers, William Bloodworth, John Bloodworth, Horace Cole, W. A. Close, Benton Meadows, Dave Camplin. Interment in Beech Cemetery. Cole & Garrett Goodlettsville in charge.

McMURTRY - Monday morning at 3:25 o'clock, July 11, 1932, at her home Shackle Island (Sumner County), Miss Lizzy McMurtry, age 69 years. Survived by brothers, Asa McMurtry of Shackle Island, D. R. McMurtry of Hendersonville, Henry McMurtry of Nashville, Miss Vessie McMurtry of Shackle Island. Funeral service at the Beech Presbyterian Church Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Following will serve as pallbearers: Honorary, Beech Chapter, No. 61, Order of Eastern Star (will also have charge of service at grave). Active: Late Frank, Herman D. McMurtry, Morgan Charlton, W. A. King and Toney Latimer. Interment in Beech Cemetery. Cole and Garrett Funeral Directors, Goodlettsville, Tenn., in charge.

McMURTRY - Monday morning, Nov. 20, 1937, at her home, Greenbrier, Route D, Charlene Webster McMurtry, age six months, 20 days. Survived by parents, Ross and Blance Webster McMurtry; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. McMurtry, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Webster. Funeral services at the Mt. Pleasant Church this (Tuesday) p. m. November 30th at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. B. H. Parker. Interment Church cemetery. Cole & Garrett, funeral directors.

McMURTRY - Wednesday afternoon, November 24, 1937, at 3:20 o'clock, at her home, Goodlettsville, Mrs. Sylvester (Vessie) McMurtry, age 71 years. She is survived by her brothers, W. H. and Asa McMurtry of Goodlettsville, and D. R. McMurtry of Hendersonville. Funeral services will be conducted at the Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. T. H. Suddarth. Order of Eastern Star will serve as honorary pallbearers. Active, Herman D. and Frank and Late McMurtry, Carl Fraiser, Morgan F. Charlton and Vego Lund. Interment in Beech Cemetery. Beech Chapter O. E. S. will have charge at the grave. McMURTRY - Saturday morning, Nov. 5, at 11 o'clock, at his home, Shackle Island, Moses McMurtry, age 67 years. He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Jennie Garrett McMurtry; sons, James, Luther, Robert, Irvin and Kellie McMurtry; daughters, Mrs. Ethel Parker, Mrs. Bessie McMurtry, Mrs. Myrtle Cole and Mrs. Margaret Carver; 20 grandchildren; sisters, Miss Nora McMurtry, Mrs. Clemmie Medlin, of Cal.; brothers, S. C., Sidney, Gus McMurtry. Funeral services will be conducted at the Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church this (Sunday) afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. T. H. Suddarth. Pallbearers: Zack Martin, Claud Parker, Jim Ralph, Gordon Frazor, Stanford Bolton, Pat Eidson. Interment in Beech Cemetery. McMURTRY - Thursday morning, August 13, 1942, at 5:20 o'clock at her home, eight miles above Goodlettsville, Mrs. Alice Meeler McMurtry, aged 68 years. Survived by husband, J. S. McMurtry, Sr.; daughters, Mrs. Eva Camplin and Mrs. Dora Cole; sons, Harvey Nelson, Archie, Barry, J. S., Jr. and Fred McMurtry; sister, Mrs. Lucy White; brother, Andrew J. Meeler. Remains at the residence as above, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock by Rev. Robert Earls. Pallbearers: Frankie and Leon McMurtry, Risteen Cole, Charles Evans, Darrell Cantrell, Clifford Hudgens. Interment White House Cemetery. Cole & Garrett, funeral directors. Goodlettsville.
