Sunday morning, April 1, 1979. Survived by wife, Lela Smart Johnson;
one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Lane, Louisville, Ky., sons Guilford Johnson,
Garnett Johnson, and J. D. Johnson all of Portland; sixteen grandchildren,
twenty-seven great grandchildren. Remains are at Wilkerson-Wiseman
Funeral Home where services will be held Monday, 2 p. m. April 2, 1979, conducted
by Rev. Gerald Noffsinger and Rev. Richard Patton. Grandsons will serve
as pallbearers. Interment, Maple Hill Cemetery.
