Funeral services for Mrs. Hettie Short, 60, were held at the Portland Baptist church at 2:30 p. m., Sunday afternoon. Services were conducted by the Pastor Rev. B. Loftus Hudson. Burial in Portland cemetery.
Mrs. Short died early Saturday. She is survived by her husband, A. M. Short, and three children, Mrs. Bluford Harper and Mrs. Porter Jernigan of near Portland, and Harry W. Short of Clarksville and four grandchildren.
