December 9, 1901 - G. B. Gregory, a respected citizen of the Sugar Grove Community, died Wednesday morning after an illness of less than a day. Mr. Gregory was taken sick suddenly Sunday afternoon with convulsions. He was about 55 years old and is survived by his wife and eight children. Mr. Gregory was a well liked and influential citizen of that section and a deacon in the Baptist Church.

Amanda Williams Gregory - A service for Amanda Mae Williams Gregory, 91, of Union City, was Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Alexander Funeral Home in Westmoreland. Officiating was the Rev. Carlos Arnold and the Rev. Davenport. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Gregory died in Fulton, Ky. She was a native of Summer County and moved to Union City in 1948. She is survived by her husband, George Belford Gregory Sr.; a son, George Belford Gregory Jr., Highland, Ind.; a grand-daughter, Karen Tuscan, Highland, Ind.; one grandchild and one-great grandchild.

George Belford Gregory, 86, died Saturday, 10 October 1987 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tennessee. He is survived by a son George B. Gregory, Jr., Union City and a granddaughter, Mrs. Karen Tuscan, Union City. Funeral services were held Wednesday, 14 October 1987 at the Alexander Funeral Home in Westmoreland with burial following in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Services for George Belford Gregory, 86, 1336 Webster Street, Union City, will be held Tuesday, 6-9 pm at Alexander Funeral Home in Westmoreland with the Rev. Davenport officiating. Burial will be on Wednesday at 1:00pm at Pleasant grove Cemetery. He passed away Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Born in Sumner County, he was the son of Green Berry Gregory and Sermah Williams Gregory and married Amanda Mae Williams. He was a retired soil conservation technician and a member of the Garrett Creek Baptist Church in Westmoreland. He is survived by son George B. Gregory, Jr., of Union City and granddaughter Karen Tuscan, also of Union City. He is preceded in death by one son and 11 brothers and sisters.
