Services for Mrs. Dorcus Harper Smith, 81, will be at 1 pm today at Smith
Chapel Templow community, Tenn. with burial in Templow Cemetery.
(8-11-1972) Mrs. Smith died Friday in Sumner Memorial Hospital after
a long illness. She is survived by a brother, Roy Harper, Gallatin,
Tenn. The body is at Wilkinson/Wiseman Funeral Home.
*Note from Submitter: "Miss Dorcas" helped my grandmother, Mrs.
Lela Smart Johnson, prepare and serve all our Easter and Christmas family
dinners. I have such fond memories of her. She was gentle, kind and
a good family friend. She is buried in the Harper Cemetery south of
Westmoreland. - jmj
