LESLIE CELSOR

Leslie Celsor, a prominent farmer of the Woodburn section of Kentucky, died Thursday night at six o'clock in a Franklin hospital as a result of injuries received on Sunday night prior to his death. He was riding horseback from his home to church at Salmons. He met a car and got out of the road, but another car going in the opposite direction struck him and killed his horse instantly, the animal being spilt open by the force of the car which was driven by a Bowling Green traveling salesman who claimed to have been blinded by the lights of the approaching car Mr. Celsor suffered a badly broken leg and internal injuries from which he died four days later. He was 63 years of age and is survived by two sons, DeWitt Celsor of New York City, and Spurgeon Celsor of Franklin, Ky., four brothers, Dr. W. Celsor, Sam Celsor and Revely Celsor, all residing between Hillsdale and Hartsville; and Dr. Eldridge Celsor of Russellville; and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Holder of Akersville, and Mrs. Ocia Berry, also of Russellville. Burial was made in the Franklin Cemetery at one o'clock Friday afternoon. The deceased was a member of Woodburn Baptist church and was also a Mason. His wife died about eight years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hargis and Mrs. Ophie Jenkins attended the funeral.
