"Delgado Family Heirloom"
| This sword called "El Gallito" now belonging to PRHGS member Rafael
Delgado Simonet has been in the Delgado family for generations. It was brought by his great grandfather, Don Buenaventura Delgado y León, from Venezuela to Puerto Rico about 1823. He was passed it down to his eldest son, Don Jose Delgado y Gonzalez, then to Don José's son, Buenaventura Delgado y Delgado, and finally to Rafael. |
