"At the Victoria General Hospital, Monday, July 31, 1978, James Smith of Hopefield, aged 69 years. Remains will rest at Parker Hamilton Funeral Home. Funeral notice and visiting hours will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kings County Hospital would be appreciated."

Resting at Parker Hamilton Funeral Home until noon Thursday then to the United Church, Little Sands, for funeral service at 2 pm.Interment in Little Sands Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated. Visiting hours today 2-4 and 7-9. A legion service will be held at graveside."
