"BLUE - At the PEI Hospital, Sunday, June 21, 1981 of Samuel A. Blue of Little Sands, age 65 years. Resting at Parker Hamilton Funeral Home, Montague where a private funeral service will be held, Tuesday, June 23rd. Interment will be in Little Sands Cemetery. No visiting hours by request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Heart Fund would be appreciated."

"OBITUARY

Samuel A. Blue

The death occurred at the PEI Hospital on June 21, 1981 of Samuel A. Blue of Little Sands, age 65 years.

He was born in Hopefield, the eldest son of the late John and Sarah Blue. In 1943 he married the former Margaret Colpitts of Salisbury, N.B. For many years, Samuel worked in Salisbury, returning to Little Sands in 1959 when he became employed with Northumberland Ferries for whom he worked until the time of his death.

Sam dedicated his life to his home and family where his prescence will be forever missed. His kind personality and great enthusiasm for life will long be remembered by those who had the opportunity of knowing him.

Left to cherish the memories of a loving husband and father are his wife, Margaret, two daughters, Ferne, Mrs. John Miodowski, New Perth, Carolyn, Mrs. Barry Stewart, Charlottetown. Three sons, John , Ottawa, Ontario, Larry and Dale, both of Charlottetown. Four grandchildren, Kim and Krista Stewart, Kelly and Paul Miodowski.

Also left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Jennie, Mrs. George Blue, Little Sands, Evelyn, Mrs. Heath Larter, Hampshire and two brothers Alden of Hopefield and James, Moncton, N.B.

A private funeral was held from the Parker Hamilton Funeral Home, Montague. The service was conducted by the Rev. Lonnie Atkinson who accompanied by organist, Miss Flora Stewart sang as a solo, "In The Garden".

Interment took place in Little Sands Cemetery. Pallbearers were his three sons and two sons-in-law and nephew Kevin Blue."
