"McCannell- The death occurred August 1 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Reuben Daniel McCannell, veteran of World War II, brother of Mrs. Ted Crane of Wood Islands East, age 66 years. Resting at the Jenkins Funeral Home, Millview until Wednesday morning, then to the Murray River Baptist Church for funeral service at 3 pm. Interment in Little Sands Cemetery. Visiting hours today 2-4 and 7-9. The Legion will hold a graveside service. Legion members are asked to attend"
