Wardale Family (?)

We now know that the Wardale family originate from the east coast, the east riding of Yorkshire and moving to Lincolnshire. Our George arrived in Portsmouth before 1848 where he married into an old seafaring family, the Frosts. His decendents remained in Portsmouth except his eldest son, a railway worker, who moved to Basingstoke, Hampshire. George's elder brother Joseph moved around the country also as a ropemaker until settling in Liverpool where his decendents are today.
