Age 73, of Corte Madera, California, passed away on November 11, 2011, in Kaiser Foundation Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Lihue, Kauai, she retired as a secretary for the Trust Real Estate Department, Sumitomo Bank of San Francisco.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Pavey, she is survived by her stepson, Peter A. Pavey and his spouse, Tony Miller; step-daughter, Pam and her husband, Tom Nowell; four step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; brothers, Chosaburo (Sue) and Douglas K. (Trung) Arai; sisters, Ethel T. Eshima, Saki (Albert) Uyechi and Shinno Kobayashi

Private services to be held at a later date.

KAANAPALI, MAUI, HAWII

Garrett Peavy, 85, of Kaanapali, Maui, a buyer for Bullocks and vice president for Designer Fabrics in California, died Thursday Oct. 2002 at home. He was born in New York and was a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by brother Paul and sisters Lucile Miller and Fannie Belle Brauer. Services at a later date. Donations suggested to the Hospice of Maui.
