Dear Sister

We received your letter some time ago we was very sorry that Mother could not come up to see us we expected her what dose Abbie say about me I ask you this not expecting you will asner me fur as many questions as I ask you never answer them so I have given up asking any I should think my cow ought to have had some money fur me by this time I should think they might pay in some money fur my cows what is said about them is Addie Wiggin at home or where is she now I have asked this two or three times I cannot think of any thing to write Susanah has gon to chirch to day and Abbie I are at home with the babie Thirsa (?) has gon with her you must write as often as you can

This letter I began last Sunday and will try and finish it to night tell Mother that Susanah wants her to come up and see her I want her to see the baby do try and come do keep a girl do not work hard I shall come home some time I think I want to get my sewing machin paid for first then I can take it home so send me the money that is due me down there Birte is a nice boy you would say so if you should see him Susanah keeps looking for mother up here so do I
